IMARK Now Serving 700 Filipino Websites Nationwide

It was November 2016 when IMARK International created a Philippine team that would provide Filipino websites and SEO services to local entrepreneurs and online sellers nationwide.
It’s been one year now and IMARK Philippines has successfully kept itself on track in the Philippine market. As of the company’s December 6th cutoff, the 700th website was ordered by an online seller from Las Piñas City.
How did IMARK Philippines get the first order?
According to Rommel Buenconsejo, a Digital Marketing Consultant at IMARK International, the international management initially assigned to him the overall management of the local team that was tasked to experiment with the local market before creating IMARK Philippines.
“Coming from IMARK International where you work easily with foreign colleagues and close sales with foreign customers in a matter of minutes, I made a lot of adjustment in dealing with Filipino customers. It took days for me and my small team to close a sale of a small website that only cost ₱5,000. That was the first offer we had. Customers would often ask for a coffee date outside, and when they got all the info they need, it would take them days and days and days to decide until promo offered was no longer valid, leaving them incapable of spending higher for the newest promo with higher price. While foreign clients want to get the whole thing done as fast as we could so they could earn quick, most Filipinos without knowledge in digital marketing or Internet marketing waste a lot of time on decision making like they’re going to lose their house and lot if they spend a few thousands of pesos. They lose better opportunities eventually. While some of the smartest Filipino sellers of products and services are already earning money in the second month, the rest of the leads are doing nothing leading them to lose daily earnings on AdSense as well as delaying ranking on search results. In the Philippines, there are still this type of clients who demand too much while they don’t really realize they demand like they’re buying the whole company for a centavo.”
Rommel’s marketing team was asked what they have learned from local customers. “There were clients that never got back to us because ₱5,000 was really a big deal to them. Most of them actually made a follow-up after four months, but since price was already ₱7,000 and ₱9,000 and ₱12,000 and again because they’re financially incapable of spending that high, they decided to hold off. The team at that point was already analyzing the behavior of the previous potential leads. It was when we started reaching other industries and types of customers. We classify every customer to different categories, and if the customer falls into the same category of the previous potential leads that we think are incapable, we often let them get some space and instead we focus on real and bigger entrepreneurs who will spend a few pesos to make their business bigger or to make their earnings higher. These are the people that we think will be successful in their businesses, and on our end we work really hard for them and it feels like we own their products, we do intensive research, and come up with perfect business and marketing plans for execution. With thousands of techpreneurs or netpreneurs we sold websites and SEO to in the Philippines and abroad, the team knows which type of person is serious about making money online, and the team knows which type of person is just wasting your time because of his/her incapability,” said Greg, a senior Digital Marketing Manager at IMARK Philippines.
What is the goal of IMARK Philippines in terms of number of websites and clients?
According to the Philippine team, they aim to build websites and systems for all online sellers and local entrepreneurs nationwide. Doubling and tripling the current figure next year is possible, especially now that the company has already established its own local brand in the country.
IMARK Philippines is focusing on the localization of its products and services through various affiliates and business partners.
What is the difference between Affiliates and Business Partners at IMARK Philippines?
Affiliates are those that sell IMARK products and services. They get 30% of the Net Revenue of every product or service sold to a customer. Because the company recognizes that affiliates bring money into the company, IMARK provides them with perks and other incentives in addition to 30% commission.
Business Partners are those that partner with IMARK Philippines in different ways. Some partners sign contract with IMARK as a supplier of tech products and services on a monthly basis for five years straight and more in exchange of other products and services that the partners offer to IMARK Philippines. Some partners sell products and services to their own customers, but sign contract with IMARK as the supplier of products and services without their own customers knowing that products and services are provided by IMARK Philippines. There are more types of partnership that IMARK Philippines is currently engaged with. Regardless of type of partnership, both parties benefit from each other in terms of lower pricing but stable flow of income and shares of market, business, or customers.
IMARK Philippines allows manpower collaborations and business partnerships with other companies and entrepreneurs because the company believes that working with the rest instead of competing with the rest is more beneficial for all parties, both companies and customers, where any company that can’t provide specific product or service requested by the customer can work with another company that is able to serve its customer.
